The FEMINIST PHENOMENOLOGY GROUP is a group of experts in feminist phenomenology. It was originally founded by Silvia Stoller (University of Vienna) on the occasion of an international workshop on “Feminist Phenomenology” which took place at the Institute for Science and Arts (IWK) in Vienna. Since it’s foundation in 2000 the group has continously grown up to an high-qualified international, worldwide network of researchers interested in phenomenology and feminist theory and its multified connections.
The international network FEMINIST PHENOMENOLOGY GROUP aims at the promotion of scientific research in the fields of phenomenology and feminist theory & gender studies. It regularly organizes conferences and workshops. From the very beginning members of this expert-team have come from Europe as well as from the United States and Canada.
People from all over the world interested in feminist phenomenology are welcome to participate in our network.
